What can I put in a QR code?
Anything text-based: a website URL, plain text, an email address, a phone number, Wi-Fi credentials, or vCard contact data. Phones scan it with the built-in camera.
Which size should I download?
For screens, 256px is fine. For print — posters, packaging, business cards — choose 512px or 1024px so the code stays sharp when scaled.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. This generates static QR codes that encode your data directly, so they never expire and require no tracking service. The code only changes if your underlying URL changes.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The QR code is rendered in your browser with JavaScript. Your URL or text is never uploaded or logged.
